NAOMI ELLA our beautiful girl. Always in our hearts. Always in our minds. Naomi means attractive or beautiful in Japanese Become a bone marrow donor and save a life xx Description January 2011 Naomi had developed small red petechiae rash on her shins and neck. Her shins ached and she had developed bruising on her legs, arms and feet. She was feeling abit tired and she was 'out of breath' when she was playing football. ... ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ Naomi played for Sheffield United Community Ladies and actually played in a match only 4 days before being diagnosed. She had trained at Sheffield United centre of Excellence. She played for her school team as well as been picked and played for Derbyshire Schools County U16s football team. ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ Naomi was very fit, healthy and sporty, she loved lots of sports and had just learnt to ski. She was about to continue in 2011 to do A level PE and Biology with her twin Elliot, as well as History and Psychology. ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ Naomi was FULL OF LIFE ...always singing, dancing, laughing, joking, doing impressions and playing the guitar. She was known for her kindness to others. ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ Naomi Ella Smith was (still is)...a beautiful, funny, bubbly, clever, sporty, talented, much loved unassuming young woman. Everyone who was around her before missed these qualities while she wasn't there; battling AML in hospital. Her best friends & year group made three support videos for Naomi and held Naomi's Night to raise funds for her and the ward. Even when Naomi was suffering, she still managed to show the people that only knew her in hospital what an amazing, funny,brave girl she was. ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ She has made an impression on everyones heart. She has left a Naomi shaped hole in everyones life ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ Naomi had Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Unfortunatly Naomi's Leukaemia was resistant to the cycles of high dose chemotherapy, so she needed a http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 8191842270 a rare mixed race bone marrow donor. Her twin brother was tested immediately but unfortunately was not a match. A global search was started. Weeks later an adequate cord blood donor was found. They couldn't get Naomi in remission. Naomi never got the transplant. Our gorgeous girl lost her her battle with cancer 06/05/2011
